September News, Part Two
Freakin’ hurricane has to go and ruin Labor Day weekend. I’ve been watching the storm as you can see from this satellite photograph. The good news is that it’s destroying someone else’s home and not mine.
Jeff and Sandi are in town. I saw them last night for a little while. We didn’t do anything. Actually, it was kind of nice talking about tugboats and model submarines with Jeff. It’s great how sometimes, no matter how much changes, things really stay the same.
We took Lucy and Bela to get their rabies shots yesterday. Gainesville Animal Hospital West has some good vets. The cats don’t think so, since they don’t really like needles being jabbed in their skin, but they’re nice there, and they got us in only hours after my phone call for an appointment.
