Finally on the Big Screen

MIAMI – So, The Simpsons Movie was pretty darn good. I may go into greater detail in the future. We all enjoyed it, though.

After the movie we came back to Jeff and Sandi’s house and Jeff and I played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is terribly violent. Miriam napped through all the shooting.

It was too late to go to the botanical garden, but we did go out to Key Biscayne and relaxed on a blanket on the beach. Everyone in Miami has body-acceptance, no matter how fat, furry or ugly, which is good, but surprising considering how much cosmetic surgery is performed in this city.

Finally, we ate dinner at TGI Fridays, and I ate the saltiest cheeseburger that ever was.

Jeff and Sandi have been treating us nicely, and treating us…to breakfast this morning, to the movie, and to dinner.

Tomorrow, though, it’s back on the road, to get home to our sweet kitty.

Sold Out

MIAMI – The Simpsons Movie was a bust last night, as the 7:25 show was sold out.  We went, instead, to Coral Gables, where I bought another of the super-comfortable American Apparel shirts I love, and Miriam got a very good looking swim suit.  We haven’t been to the beach at all this summer, and we mean to remedy that, if not here in Miami then later in St. Augustine.  After Coral Gables, Sandi drove us around the University of Miami campus.

So, this morning we’re trying again for The Simpsons Movie, and then, perhaps a botanical garden.
