I Go Out Walkin’
CHICAGO - Our time here is passing quickly. While Miriam has been in conferences, I’ve been going on sightseeing walks alone. This morning I walked up Michigan Avenue to the old Water Tower, then down to the Merchandise Mart building (once the largest building in the world) and then to Daley Plaza (”They got that Picasso there.”)
The weather today began overcast. Then, by 11 o’clock this morning it was sunny. But I see now that a thunderstorm is on its way, and that doesn’t bode well for our trip up to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs vs. White Sox. A rain-out would be a catastrophe.
