The Best
My beloved Rays just beat the Hated New York Yankees two nights in a row, and are now five games up in the American League East, and far-and-away the best team in baseball. No one else is even close. The Rays’ 30-11 start is better than any team in fifteen years. Off to Houston, where they should have no trouble against the Astros. If there is going to be inter-league play (and there shouldn’t be; it’s an abomination), I’m glad we aren’t up against Philadelphia.

As a life-long Phillies fan, I want no part of your Rays (unless it’s in the World Series, of course), who appear to be doing what I’d expected them to do *last* year.
The Rays’ 2008 team was much better than they appeared to be in the WS, where the spotlight seemed to give them the jitters.
That said, their current record is astounding – visiting players go through a period of adjustment with your troublesome roof, so a slight home edge would be understandable, but the Rays are even better on the road!
You should have no problem with the Astros, but please save something for the Braves and Fish, in June.
