Here’s where I will talk about my interest in rock and/or roll music. Obviously, I devote a lot more time to art-music, and I probably have 100 CDs of classical music for every one I have of rock, but I still have my likes and dislikes, and here’s where I will discuss those, as well as some of my experiences performing rock.

I listened to a lot of radio when I was a kid. In fact, when I got home from school I would usually just sit with head-phones on, listening to music for hours. Then, one day when I was in sixth grade, I heard a song that would change my life. It was called “My Prerogative” by Bobby Brown, and I so hated it that I had to stop listening to all Top-40 radio to avoid it. I began listening almost exclusively to older music, especially rock from the 1960s and 1970s.

For a while I played in a couple bad bands with friends. But I am not very good at playing or singing, so I am not currently in any bands.

I still write songs every now and then, and I am very slowly working on making recordings of these songs, but it’s not my highest priority.
